The “Holland & Associates Environmental Consultants” trading name was established in 2005 when Ross Holland envisioned an Environmental Consultancy that could operate with flexibility and efficiency, offering a wide spectrum of class-leading environmental consulting services. Holland & Associates is a professional environmental consultancy which operates on the core principals of Integrity, Sustainable Outcomes, and Service Excellence.
Holland and Associates offer a comprehensive suite of environmental consulting services. We provide Environmental Management Services in accordance with the principals of Integrated Environmental Management and global best practice. Within South Africa, we conduct environmental assessments in conformity with the requirements of the Regulations published in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) (Act 107 of 1998, as amended) and in terms of the relevant domestic environmental legislation, and/or finance institution requirements when working in other jurisdictions. Our services also include undertaking Environmental Opportunities and Constraints Analysis, Environmental Due Diligence Investigations, compilation of Environmental Management Plans and Programmes (EMP`s), as well as environmental monitoring (Environmental Control Officer work) and auditing. We also undertake independent Environmental Process Reviews, Environmental Risk Assessments, and Environmental Education. Following the addition of Ms Anja Albertyn (Pr Sci.Nat) to the Holland & Associates team, we are now also able to offer Avifaunal Impact Assessments, Avifaunal Feasibility Studies and Bird Specialist Reports to the suite of services offered.
In order to cater for the specific capacity and diverse capability demands of large scale projects, Holland & Associates have formed a number of strategic associations with other high calibre environmental professionals, who partner with Holland & Associates on a project to project basis, when required. Holland & Associates Environmental Consultants are based in Cape Town South Africa and are available to undertake work throughout the Republic, as well as beyond the borders of South Africa.
